Why I Built Moyccino (And Where It’s Going Next)

Let’s cut the bullshit.
Moyccino didn’t begin with a vision board, a five-year plan, or some magical morning routine. It began because I was burned out, tapped out, and completely done with brands selling fake fixes while ignoring the real mess.
The truth? I started building Moyccino out of survival- out of the gut punch of realizing nobody was saying what actually needed to be said.
We don’t need another “rise and grind” hustle culture gospel. Nor do we need another beige wellness sermon. Instead, we need honesty, sarcasm, and something real enough to carry us through nights when all we’ve got is caffeine, bad decisions, and a half-dead phone battery.
That’s how Moyccino came alive.
So, What Is Moyccino?
Moyccino isn’t just merch, and it sure as hell isn’t another recycled Instagram aesthetic. Instead, it’s a digital refuge for the ones who hit rock bottom, walked through flames, and still dragged themselves into the daylight. They didn’t get standing ovations. Nobody handed out gold stars. They just kept moving-coffee in hand, scars hidden, sanity held together with stubbornness.
It speaks to the ones constantly praised as “so strong” yet never once asked if they’re okay. It mirrors the woman who nails every meeting, posts the perfect selfie, but secretly relies on phone alarms just to remember to breathe. It nods to the guy brewing coffee he can’t afford while he wonders how the hell life got so heavy. It even reaches the student staring at debt notices who can’t relate to glittery wellness quotes. And it belongs to anyone sick of people-pleasing, fake positivity culture, and corporate nonsense dressed up as self-care.
If any of this feels like you-then welcome. You’ve found your people.
The Messy Truth Behind it
I stopped hiding. Stopped shrinking just to keep others comfortable. And I stopped treating rest and basic respect like luxuries I hadn’t earned. Eventually, as result, everything collapsed- relationships cracked under pressure, finances spiraled into survival mode, my health turned fragile, and even my sense of identity scattered into pieces.
Those nights didn’t look glamorous. They looked like staring at the ceiling at 3 a.m., calculating bills on scrap paper, or showing up to work with a smile that felt like a mask slipping. They looked like scrolling feeds full of perfect lives and wondering why I felt like a failure just for needing a pause.
Instead of taping the pieces together with fake positivity, I asked the question that haunted me: Is this really how we’re meant to live? Just surviving?
The answer landed like a punch. No. Absolutely not.
So I built Moyccino as the thing I couldn’t find anywhere else: a brutally honest, unfiltered, unapologetic space where broken doesn’t mean worthless—and survival can grow into something bigger.
